- Leading the Faculty of Medicine together with the Dean and the Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine
- Member of the Directorate of UMZH
- Member of the Coordination Board of UMZH
- Representation of the Faculty towards the Executive Board of the University and in the Extended Executive Board of the University
- Leading the Governing Board, the Faculty Representatives' Board and the Faculty Assembly
Faculty Affairs
- Professorial appointments
- Periodical interviews with non-clinical assistant professors
- Research
- Coordination of aspects of animal husbandry, animal experiments, and 3RCC
Finances and Infrastructure
- Budget responsibility for the faculty including professor salaries
- Financial allocation for research and teaching
- Comission on the investment credit
- Strategic reserve
- Allocation of space and infrastructure within the faculty
